Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Pokeo. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use Pokeo

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you need a parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your account secure.

2. What Pokeo does

Pokeo lets you set personal reminders and send "nudges" — reminders for someone else. Nudges work on consent: a nudge only rings once the recipient accepts it, and recipients can block senders, report abuse, or limit who can nudge them to their contacts. Pokeo is meant to be a friendly accountability tool, not a way to harass anyone.

3. Your responsibilities

Don't use Pokeo to harass, threaten, bully, or spam anyone. This includes sending unlawful or abusive content, impersonating someone, nudging people who haven't consented to hear from you, breaking the law, or trying to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service. You're responsible for what you write in your reminders and nudges. We have zero tolerance for abusive material.

4. Reporting

You can report an abusive nudge directly in the app. We review reports and may issue warnings, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts — potentially without notice, when it's needed to protect users.

5. Your content

You own the content you create. By using Pokeo, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit that content solely to operate the service.

6. Notifications

We send SMS one-time codes and push notifications to run the service. Your carrier's standard rates may apply to SMS. You control notification permissions through your device settings.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time, in the app or via our delete-account page.

8. Availability

Pokeo is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee delivery timing or uninterrupted operation.

9. Liability

We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Pokeo. Pokeo is not a safety-critical alerting system — please don't rely on it for anything where a missed or delayed alert could cause serious harm.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes.
